History of Some of our past Projects
- Port of Woodland 1981 Martin Bar survey for a court case between the Port of Woodland and the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
- Port of Woodland Austin Point boundary survey.
- Consolidated Diking Improvement District No. 2 Pump Stations 1 & 2 topographic & boundary surveys along with hydrological surveys and the preparation of legal descriptions.
- Port of Kalama North Port - Established horizontal and vertical control for approximately 250 acres of land. Information gathered to define mitigation areas; establish dike locations and elevations; and determine earthwork quantities.
- Provided topographic surveys for BHP steel plant at the Port of Kalama. Provided construction staking for 10,000 feet of water main and 3000 feet of railroad tract to serve the BHP facility.
- Port of Kalama Industrial Park – Monitored settling plates along with numerous boundary surveys.
- Port of Ridgefield Industrial Park, North and South Pole Yard – Multiple topographic & boundary surveys along with a Lake River DNR lease survey.
- Premark survey for the Port of Ridgefield Golf Course and construction staking for the tees, greens, and water hazards for 18 hole public golf course.
- Port of Ridgefield Marina. Provided construction staking for pilings for floating dock, storm water facilities & parking lot.
- DNR lease survey for communication cable crossing over or under the Willamette River.
- Pacific Power & Light - Provided horizontal and vertical control to relocate a mile of transmission line right of way from Swift Dam in Clark County, WA.

We are a local surveying firm providing surveying services to private individuals, utility districts, port districts, county, state and federal agencies. Founded by John Barbieri in 1979, we have endeavored to provide personal attention to our clients. This personalized service is a distinguishing factor which characterizes Barbieri Land Surveying.
Our Experience
In 1979 John Barbieri founded our family run land surveying business. We are proud to be a 3rd generation land surveying company, consistently surveying in Vancouver and the surrounding area. You may have known us as Barbieri and Associates, Inc. We have decided to simplify our company name and focuses on surveying. We at Barbieri Land Surveying have over 100 years combine surveying experience. You can still find John in the office most days, stop by and say hi.
Our Services
Barbieri Land Surveying makes every effort to accommodate the needs of our customers and occasionally that means to work around landscape and object that are not movable. We offer a wide range of surveying services, including boundary surveying, construction staking, and topographic surveying. We also provide surveying for short plats and subdivisions.
